Preface-(Judges 10) - Tola judgeth Israel; and after him Jair, whose thirty sons had thirty cities. The children of Israel fall again into idolatry,

repentance he pitieth them. They assemble and consult about choosing a head.
Preface-(Judges) 11 - Jephthah, the son of Gilead by a strange woman, is thrust out from home by his brethren. At the breaking out of the
war the elders of Gilead appeal to him to command them, and covenant to make him their head. His embassy to the king of Ammon,
which proveth fruitless. His vow. He overcometh the Ammonites. His daughter cometh to meet him, with whom he doeth according to his vow.
Judges 10-11:11
Preface - Peter, being accused for conversing with the Gintiles, maketh his defence; the church is satisfied, and glorifieth God.
The gospel having spread as far as Phenice, Cyprus, and Antioch, Barnabas is sent thither, who fetcheth Saul from Tarsus; many people are
taught at Antioch, where the disciples are first called Christians. Agabus prophesieth a dearth; the disciples send relief from Antioch to the
brethren in Judaea by Barnabas and Saul.
Acts 14

Robert Murray M'Cheyne - God Makes A Path - Daily Devotional Readings
Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.  - Hebrews 12 v 2.
Keep looking then to Jesus dear soul, and you will have the peace that passeth all understanding. Whenever Satan accuses you, send him to the stripes of Jesus.
