Daily Prayer Wednesday
Wednesday
- Give thanks to God for the Bible, its inspiration and preservation for us to read it today. (2 Timothy 3.16, Proverbs 30.5.)
- Give thanks to God that we have easy access to Scripture in English, in our mother tongue. Pray for those without access to the bible because it is forbidden or not available.
- Pray the Lord would bless us as we study the Bible through the ministry this coming year. That as we work through a book of the Bible, that the Lord would continue to help us to grasp God's truth.
- Pray for the lunchtime outreach service and those who attend; pray that more from the offices nearby and Christians who commute are able to join us.

Saturday morning at Victoria Street (outside the big Boots store) for 10:30 am (across the road from Town Hall - No. 64). Afterwards, we go back to church for prayer.

If we confess our sins,

Shall the throne of iniquity
have fellowship with thee?

When weakness is strength
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

When the believer is weakest, then is he strongest. The child that knows most its utter feebleness, entrusts itself most completely into the mother's arms. The young eagle that knows, by many a fall, its own inability to fly, yields itself to be carried on the mother's mighty wing. When it is weak, then it is strong; and just so the believer when he has found out, by repeated falls, his own utter feebleness, clings, with simplest faith, to the arm of the Saviour and leans on his Beloved, coming up out of the wilderness, and hears with joy the words: 'My grace is sufficient for thee; my strength is made perfect in weakness.'
