​Daily Prayer - Saturday
Saturday
- Give thanks to God that we have good news of salvation to tell, that the repentant sinner might have everlasting life through Jesus Christ. (John 3.16.)
- Pray the Lord would bless the Gospel outreach by the church in Westminster. Both on Saturday morning, through church services, via BAL and enquiries online.
- Pray the Lord would work in the contacts we have made both on Saturday mornings and at services; through personal conversations and online contracts.

Saturday morning at Victoria Street (outside the big Boots store) for 10:30 am (across the road from Town Hall - No. 64). Afterwards, we go back to church for prayer.

Preface - Christ proceedeth in his sermon to condemn rash judgment; forbiddeth the prostitution of holy things; recommendeth prayer; exhorteth to enter in at the strait gate; to beware of false prophets, who may be known by their fruits; and not in be his disciples in profession only, but in practice; he compareth doers of the word to houses built on a rock, those that are hearers only to houses build on the sand. Christ endeth his sermon; the people are astonished at his doctrine.

Who shall be able to stand?

Who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap.

I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands.... Enter not into judgment with thy servant:
for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. - A man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ. - By the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight.

Q  80 - What is the Lord's Supper?
A - The Lord's Supper is an ordinance of the New Testament, instituted by Jesus Christ; wherein, by giving and receiving bread and wine, according to his appointment, his death is shown forth; and the worthy receivers are, not after a corporeal and carnal manner, but by faith, made partakers of his body and blood, with all his benefits, to their spiritual nourishment, and growth in grace.

Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved?
Song of Solomon 8 v 5

It is very observable that there is none here but the bride and her beloved in a vast wilderness. She is not leaning upon Him with one arm, and upon somebody else with the other; but she is leaning upon Him alone. So is it with the soul taught of God; it feels alone with Christ in this world; it leans as entirely upon Christ as if there were no other being in the universe. She leans all her weight upon her husband. When a person has been saved from drowning, they lean all their weight upon their deliverer. When the lost sheep was found, He took it upon His shoulder. You must be content then to lean all your weight upon Christ. Cast the burden of temporal things upon Him. Cast the care of your soul upon Him. If God be for us, who can be against us? They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. The eagle soars so directly upward, that poets have fancied it was aiming at the sun. So does the soul that waits on Christ.
