Daily Prayer - Saturday
- Give thanks to God that we have good news of salvation to tell that the repentant sinner might have everlasting life through Jesus Christ. (John 3.16.)
- Pray the Lord would bless the Gospel outreach by the church in Westminster. Both on Saturday mornings and at services.
​- Pray the Lord would work in the contacts we have made both on Saturday mornings and at services; through personal conversations and online                   contacts.

The secret things belong unto the LORD our God:

Daily Light - Evening
The Spirit...
maketh intercession for the saints
according to the will of God.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. - Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.

This is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desire of him. - This is the will of God, even your sanctification.

God hath...called us...unto holiness...who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit.

This was His love
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. - 2 Corinthians 5 v 21
He hath made him to be sin for us. This is described in the Bible in a great many different ways. In the fifty-third chapter of Isaiah it is said, 'All we like sheep have gone astray, and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all'; and, verse 10, 'it is pleased the Lord to bruise him,' etc. The same thing is described to us by Peter, in 1 Peter 2 v 24, 'Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree.' But in this passage you will observe it is described in a far more dreadful manner. He heaped upon His Son all our sins until there was nothing but sin to be seen. He appeared all sin; nothing of His own beauty appeared; God took Him as if He were entirely made up of sin. You know that unconverted men are all sin. You say you have many good things about you; you are sometimes light in your walk, and take a glass occasionally; 'but I'm a good fellow after all.' Ah, you do not know that you are one mass of sin; your mind, your understanding, your affections, and your conscience. Brethren, look at the love of Christ, that He should be willing to be made sin for us, and this was His love.
